Finally I am bringing, after over 10 years, my blog, bio, and shop (via link) all in one website. I'm a little slow on these things. So much has changed in the indie dyer world-- in the yarn and fiber world! Ravelry alone was a total game changer.
I fully started my business in my tiny kitchen in my studio apartment. The kitchen used to be a hallway. Five years later I finally got a garage studio when I moved in with my boyfriend, and moving up to Portland afforded me to have a decent sized studio in our 3 car garage at last.
But enough reminiscing. I'll get back to that later. On June 24th, at 12 noon PST, I am having Part One of a PRS Greatest Hits update in the shop. As you can imagine, ten years is a lot of time in which to create new colorways, but there are some that have been solid sellers this whole time. The earliest color way, which surprised me in how many people mentioned it when I asked for update input was Ghost Orchid.
The second color way (that I have the recipes of) is Pansies.
And, of course, the perennial favorite, Electric Rose.
Electric Rose has been, well, electric in popularity ever since it made its debut! I haven't tracked down how long it's been around, but at least six years.
There are so many good colorways that I cannot dye them all up for a single update! Hence the two parter. Who knows, it could be a three parter....
Let me know what colorways you have had as favorites and which ones you would like to see again!
